"Fantastic A&E Staff"

We were extremely impressed with all of the staff, students and volunteers at Macclesfield A&E, who treated our five year-old daughter today when she broke her arm. Everybody from the car park staff, healthcare assistants and nurses to the radiologists and orthopaedics doctor were friendly and put us at our ease during what was a difficult and upsetting time. We were seen straightaway and my daughter was given pain relief promptly. We were kept informed at each stage and knew what would happen next. The healthcare assistant did a fantastic job with the temporary cast, which is very neat and effective. When my daughter became upset and wanted to go home, a nurse engaged her and her baby sister with bubbles, which distracted her from her pain. Thank you so much. We didn’t want to be in that situation, but you certainly made it more bearable.
