"I felt safe"

About: Borders General Hospital / General Surgery (Ward 7)

(as the patient),

I underwent a hernia operation at Borders General Hospital in June. The kindness and excellence of care shown to me was second to none. I felt safe and in extremely capable hands, and have made a steady recovery. In my opinion, the National Health Service really is the very best of Britain, and must be nourished, cared for, and protected. The BGH is a fine example of the NHS at work and must be commended for all it does for the South of Scotland community.
