"Outpatient Clinic"

About: Royal Free Hospital / Respiratory medicine

I attended an outpatient appointment on the 4th may as a follow-up for respiratory problems.

I was seen reasonably promptly and was very satisfied with the discussion. However I was advised that my GP would be advised on a course of treatment within two weeks, I.e. 18th May. As at today’s date,12th June, neither my GP nor I have heard anything despite having attempted to contact the Respiratory department.

As my condition is very debilitating I am obviously anxious for my GP to have guidance so that he can offer me treatment.

Hello

Thank you for your review, I can understand your anxiety and it must also be very frustrating having had such a positive appointment.

Please contact one of the PALS staff; they are really helpful and will be able to sort for you, they can be contacted at rf.pals@nhs.net or on 020 7472 6446

Kind Regards

Richard
