About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

I was called in for Bowel Cancer Screening so clearly I wasn't looking forward to the day, but the staff were so kind, thoughtful, competent and professional that I was very impressed and glad that I attended.

From the greeting and explanation of what was to come to the uncomfortable but painless and brief colonoscopy itself, the kindness and empathy shown was extraordinary and the procedure carried out quickly and efficiently and explanations were provided throughout.

The four staff members I met really are a tribute to the hospital and the NHS and I can thoroughly recommend this department as outstanding.
