All care from the moment I phoned to seek advice on reduced movement through to discharge was of a high standard. Couple of minor blips, but no reflection on staff.
I was taken to theatre for forceps and potential c-section and despite feeling exceptionally anxious, all staff were very relaxing. My husband was kept fully informed. I want to highlight two staff in particular -a gentleman working in the theatre, Robert, who was amazing at keeping me relaxed and managed to bring myself and husband down to feeling that everything was under control. The anaesthetist as well who inserted the spinal block was exceptional too. Clear, concise and ensured that I was aware of what to expect
These two gentlemen helped me massively and deserve to be recognised for it. I am afraid due to the situation I never managed to thank them properly. It is down to these and their fellow members of staff I now have a beautiful baby girl who was born in November.
The only downside to the care was the wait for discharge. We were ready to leave from 12pm but had to wait til 5pm, however I am fully aware this is no reflection in staff, but more the staffing levels.
"They helped me massively"
