Attended the MIU with what turned out to be a broken finger. Unit was already busy but staff, who were clearly efficient and working very hard, were seeing patients quickly. I was seen in just over an hour. Recalled for X-ray within 20 mins and then follow-up care and advice not long after.
Reception staff deserve a particular mention for handling some tricky and bordering on aggressively rude patients with cheerful patience. I’m very impressed but without being rude I hope not to need to come back. :)
