I cannot offer enough praise to everyone I came into contact with in the opthalmy department.
From the staff nurse who rang me about an urgent appointment, the technicians and the doctor who explained everything I was going to have done and finally the nurses who looked after me when I fainted, who were so supportive and made me feel secure and reassured me.
The care I received throughout my treatment was first class and don’t think that it could be improved on.
I left the hospital reassured and was given information to help me identify future problems and a contact number if I needed help in the future.
Today has restored my faith in the already stretched NHS and realise that there are still professional caring staff who go that extra mile for their patients
"Everyone was great"
