We recently attended the More than Words course after a referral from our Speech Therapist in relation to our son who has been referred for ASD and has social communication issues. We found the course invaluable and have benefited a great deal from it.

The support provided by the course leader Anne was fantastic. She created a warm and friendly atmosphere in which we could learn about the best ways to encourage and develop our son. There has been a noticeable difference in our son since we started implementing the strategies that we learned. The strategies learned at this course will benefit our son for a long time to come.

Anne provided us will a lot of additional information such as entitlement to benefits, access to support groups etc. I would recommend that any parent who is unsure as to whether or not to attend this course does so.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience of speech and language therapy. I am so glad that you found the More Than Words course helpful. I will certainly pass your feedback to Anne who works in the room next door to me!

We have found More Than Words to be a very effective way of helping parents with strategies to support their child. Parents also find it helpful to meet others and I am very pleased that you feel able to recommend this course to other parents.


I hope your kind words will encourage other parents to attend when they are unsure if it will be of benefit.

I am glad to hear that you have noticed a positive change in your son and hope he goes from strength to strength.
