I had a problem with my eyes and had a very quick response regarding an appointment last week.
It all worked like clockwork getting tests done and x-rays taken, then we went in to see the Consultant (I assume).
He had his side to us with his hand up to his face and mumbled, asking what the problem was.I explained and he examined my eyes and confirmed I had a vitreous detachment. We tried (a friend was with me) asking questions and hardly got any reply so gave up. I was given a leaflet about PVD and we were sent on our way. We were both in shock at the offhand treatment, having always experienced excellent care from Musgrove. All other staff were very efficient and friendly. I do not like complaining as before treatment has been excellent in other departments.
