I saw the rheumatology consultant at Orsett Hospital in February 2018 and following discussion with another consultant, I have decided to write a review.
The consultant at Orsett was uninterested in my condition and spent just a few minutes doing a few basic tests, glanced at the blood test results, talked over me and my husband and was totally uncaring and dismissive.
Having had consultations with other consultants about my condition, I could not believe how little time he spent on my consultation and having spoken to another consultant in the meantime, they were very annoyed that he dismissed the previous diagnosis that I had been given, within a few minutes and gave me another diagnosis that, to be honest, is nonsense.
He asked at the end of the appointment if it had been helpful and my husband told him it had not!.
