I want to thank so many staff at RACH for the amazing and truly professional care my daughter has received over the last 6 months. She was found to have a bone condition Fibrous Dysplasia and a fractured hip. The outcome for this after many xrays. MRI, bone scan, bone biopsy was an operation to place a femoral nail and screws into her femur to strengthen her hip. She is now doing amazingly well and I am so very very relieved. So just to thank the brilliant orthopaedic consultant Ms Mills and her team, the consultant we first saw Mr Dougall, all the x-ray department, MRI team, nuclear medicine, RACH theatre staff and anaesthetists and of course the kindness and care of the nurses and staff in the surgical ward at RACH (a busy ward but nothing was ever too much trouble and the atmosphere at all times was calm and organised), the dedication and kindness of everyone to my daughter in which was quite a traumatic experience for her has been truly appreciated and the value of such true professionals working for children at RACH to the NHS is beyond price.
"Dedication and kindness to my daughter"
