here comes my second review after my first one was deleted or unpublished. I came to the clinic at the beginning of jan 5 weeks pregnant i was told i was too early for a medical abortion and would have to come back a week later for another scan, i was scanned internally and externally, they questioned my dates which i knew was right and booked another appt a week later. I went back had internal and external scans to be told nothing could be seen and they was concerned about an ectopic pregnancy being on the cards, however nothing was explained. I asked for my mum to be present as im 18 and dont have the best memory and i was asked ‘why do you want your mum?’ Erm because shes here to support me through a difficult time. I went back 2 weeks later and was told hardly anything could be seen within the sac and it measured 6 weeks when i was infact 9 weeks. At this point i felt like i wasnt going to get the help i needed and was very disappointed. I went back and was scanned externally i refused an internal because all she was gonna tell me is she cant see anything which i already knew, i got referred to st marys to be scanned and checked for an ectopic pregnancy, they found the yolk sac and it wasnt an ectopic luckily. After doing some research my self i was looking at blighted ovum, the results came back as a missed miscarriage i was then referred to wythenshawe hospital where i stayed for 2 nights and had my miscarriage and was treated so much better they never questioned my mum being there. I think the staff need better equipment and they need training on other things that go wrong in pregnancy. I also think one of the receptionists needs training as she wasnt very nice to speak to, the other receptionist was welcoming and made me feel a little less nervous. This review is late after my last review being deleted. In the end i was nearly 12 weeks pregnant, it took 5 and a half weeks for anything to happen despite me telling them i was in pain with my belly at every appointment. If you are going through an unwanted pregnancy go to a hospital instead, dont waste your time with this horrible horrible place. Think the procedure and being in the room is bad, sit in the waiting area where your face to face with people whenever you look up, once you go upstairs in the waiting room your greeted by silence, the silence of women all sat alone waiting to be seen, no one can sit with you in the waiting room.
"Terrible"
