I had the most amazing experience with the amazing staff at the De La Mare Ward. I was admitted to have metalwork removed and had to stay overnight due to complications. All the staff were very friendly, understanding, helpful and so many other words to explain about them. Been on the autistic spectrum, I was treated with respect, and given my own side room, which was a surprise. I was checked on every hour, and I was always asked if I wanted anything. I personally feel that they don’t get appreciated enough and don’t get paid enough either. Thank you to all the students, doctors, nurses, cleaners, porters and any other staff I forgot. Thank you again. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family St Albans Hospital for treatment.
