"Thank you"

just over 2 years ago mine and my family’s life changed! My nan who was the rock of our family had a nervous breakdown and suffered with severe depression she was hospitalised and then sent to Edward street at the time seeing my nans behaviour of agression, confusion, refusing to eat and drink and also throwing herself around the floor we thought that was it this was how she was now until she went here she was put into Salter’s ward who were brilliant they helped us every step of the way through something we didn’t know much about to making us become experts

My nan in 6months became herself again something we never thought possible

Recently she has relapsed and has gone back inside but this time we don’t worry like before as we know she will get better with help from the amazing staff and the facilities here!
