"Great hospital, lovely staff"

I visited the cardiology day ward in March for a cardiac ablation. I was a little apprehensive on arrival, but the lovely nurse on duty was very reassuring and friendly and made me feel completely at ease. After a couple of hours waiting on the ward, I was taken to the lab for the electrophysiological study and ablation. Again I entered feeling slightly apprehensive, not knowing what to expect. I was quickly put at ease by the fantastic team of staff (so many of them!) led by a Dr. The study and ablation went well, I found it fascinating to listen to watch and listen to them all at work. Within a few hours I was back on the ward again being looked after by the lovely nurses. Although all the staff looking after me during the stay were fantastic, there was a nurse in particular who really deserves praise. One Nurse was on the night shift, he was cheerful, attentive and dealt with a tough patient with complete professionalism. I am in awe of the Nurse, Dr and all the other staff who I have met during my hospital appointments. I can’t offer enough praise for the work you do and the situations you deal with every day. Thank you so much! .
