"Worst Experience ... Ever"

About: Hayes Town Medical Centre

I have been at this place for less than a year and never once had a regular or even adequate experience here.

One doctor told me that I could get help with my prescriptions if I brought in medical notes from my GP, and when I came back with my papers, another GP told me that I could not get my prescription medicines. This involved me taking a 6 hour trip to my old GP to get my prescriptions refilled due to GPs that are either seeing the same patients and having horrible communication, or one of the GPs not having the proper knowledge of their field.

In another scenario, I was in a serious condition and asked for a doctor's appointment. The nurse gave me another nurses appointment and didn't tell me that I would need to bring in a urine sample. The nurse that I did see belittled me for not bringing the urine sample and told me that I should've made a GP session (which I did...).

In another situation, I booked an appointment and arrived perfectly on time, however, I was behind a woman who was getting insufficient help from the desk ladies. The desk ladies didn't know the process for giving stool samples and blood samples, so I waited to simply say "I'm here". While I proceeded to listen to the silly conversation, my time passed by. I ended up telling the lady how to do both things BECAUSE I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. The doctor AND the nurse do not tell anyone how to actually do any of the testing, and then you get belittled (like I did at the blood office upstairs) for not knowing what to do BECAUSE YOU WERE NEVER TOLD BY ANYONE IN THE OFFICE. Finally, I was seen by the front desk and she didn't even know I had an appointment (clearly because of technological issues where she can't see appointments that the nurses have booked). She looked at me as if I was crazy, and then asked me to sit while she talked to the nurse. The nurse told me I was late EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T! I was waiting for the vast line (as I always do here) to finally end, so I could just say "Here". As a result, I lost my appointment and have been continuing to vomit, since ALSO having been canceled on due to a sick doctor.

Rather than rebooking, I decided to find a practice that won't make me feel horrible and increasingly sick. I suggest you do the same.
