Dear atlasdw44,

Thanks very much for posting your feedback on care opinion. I am delighted you had a good experience and found the team to be attentive with a good bedside manner. Communication is so important at such a difficult time for you.

Coming in to hospital with a stroke requires rapid brain imaging to allow appropriate treatment. We are fortunate to have an excellent radiology department who carry out a CT scan within 24 hours to allow treatment to commence. For some patients we require a MRI scan to give more information. Although this usually doesn't delay acute stroke treatment I can fully understand how difficult it must be for you as the patient waiting for this to be completed. I am sorry for the added stress this caused you.

The staff will be delighted to read your feedback and to hear your positive experience. I hope you are now on the road to recovery.

Best wishes,

Christine
