I have been hold to the doctors trying to make an appointment for my daughter who has a high temperature and white spots over her tonsils. I appreciate this surgery has undergone lots of changes recently and has a shortage of staff but this is not acceptable! I cannot get through and my only option is to hang up or go to a&e which is ridiculous.

Please accept my apologies for the problems you have experienced with contacting the practice. We have just had a new telephone system installed and are experiencing some technical issues to do with the broadband connectivity. This issue is currently being worked on by both the telecommunications company and BT and we expect the problems to be resolved this week. Once again I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
