Had a call from our daughters partner that she had been admitted following her waters breaking.
Later told she had been rushed down for emergency C Section due to complications.
Rushed from Worcestershire to the Hospital.
By this time baby had been delivered and daughter in recovery.
Waa told we could not go up to see daughter by receptionist who phoned ward she had been put on.
No one came down to explain what was going on. Had to txt daughters partner who came down and he explained that as our daughters legal carer he was not able to stay with her at times, could not give consents on forms and while our daughter was still under influence of anaesthesia she had to sign forms which I think was really bad... When we eventually got to see our daughter only one of us allowed up. By the time I was allowed up, baby had gone for tests. I never got to see him. During visiting an anaesthetist came in to do a survey and our daughter was moved to somewhere else. Why that couldn't have waited I don't know. My wife and I were never approached to explain anything. I would of thought we would have had some explanation but nothing.!! Very poor indeed..
Dirty reception area, people smoking immediately outside main reception doors. Standards very poor.
"lack of humanity and care"
