I had an "Injection of Therapeutic Substance Into Joint - La/Steroid injection - Right Hip" as a Day Patient today.

My consultant who I have been seeing now for approximately 18 months.

The consultant is an excellent consultant who has always given me enough time so that he understands my issues and I understand my options, and we agree between us the correct way forward.

This is the 2nd injection and, like the first, the care I received from all staff (from the moment I arrived in reception until when I left after treatment) was exceptional.

They really put a lot of care and attention into making you feel respected, valued, relaxed and in control and ensure that you retain your dignity during the whole process, being treated with respect - I did not, at any time, feel like just a number, I always felt like a person whose treatment and recovery mattered to them.

I couldn't praise one person - they all deserve praise
