"Saved my life"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Xrays and scans St John's Hospital / Cancer services Western General Hospital / Radiotherapy

(as the patient),

I went to Dr Hewitt at West Calder Medical practice and was fast tracked to St John's where I had a CT scan.  I was told I had cancer.

Following a biopsy at St John's I went for chemo at the Western and was in for three days.  Further chemo was done at St John's.  This was followed by radium treatment at the Western.

A couple of weeks ago I went for a PET scan at the Royal and today I went to get the results from Dr McNeill who told me the lymphoma was gone!   But he will keep an eye on me for two years.

I couldn't have been treated any better by all the staff, consultants and doctors.  They saved my life.  If I hadn't gone to the doctor when I did I would have died.

I recommend that they changed nothing, even the food was good!

Lovely doctors and staff
