After going through a double bypass I was offered a place in Hairmyres cardio rehab class.   I am not the most social person and thought no I don’t like the idea of going in with strangers, however did go and it’s the best thing I have done since my surgery.   All of the team Donough, Faye, Mary and all the staff were fantastic, keeping an eye on everyone and giving them the confidence they had lost along the way. So if you are having second thoughts about joining one of these classes go for it

I am delighted to hear that you have had such a good experience and I know Donough, Faye, Mary and the team will be overjoyed to know they have had such a positive influence on your recovery journey. Patients unfamiliar with these services can be very nervous about attending and I am sure your feedback will help to encourage those who are feeling apprehensive.
