"X Ray's needed"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

We arrived at 11.30am. Saw a member of staff at 12.00 and went for a X Ray. X rayed at 1.00pm. Back to a and e. Saw another member of staff who informed me that my foot had been X rayed instead of my ankle. Back to X Ray for more X Ray's. Back to a and e ( I am on crutches and found all the backwards and forwards exhausting).

3.00 pm still waiting... Went to see what was happening they had lost my X Ray's.

Eventually they were found, conformation of soft tissue injury to ankle, and severe arthritis of knee. I was then told that my knee X Ray would be looked at by a senior doctor.

3.45pm I left.

Very dissatisfied patient

We're sorry to learn of this and would ask you please to consider contacting our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) who can liaise with Urgent Care and the Emergency Department on your behalf.

PALS can be contacted on 01772 522972 and there is there is an answer service to leave messages outside of those hours, which will be picked up and responded to the next working day.

With best wishes
