"I was allowed to be myself. Being a man does not mean I am macho"

I have had a block set of 6 counselling sessions with Bromley Healthcare, as I had suffered with depression since the middle of last year. there was a delay in this treatment care starting but it was worth the wait. I attended the Bromley Talk together clinic at Mottingham and was seen by Amarpreet. 

Amarpreet was not only a great listener, she also talked about triggers, watch outs and also the choices or words and phrases meant that I always left the session with much to reflect on and also things to build on.

I did not feel any shame or embarrassment at the fact that I had broken down in tears on a couple of occasions.

I was made to feel comfortable and  Amarpreet's  professionalism throughout all 6 sessions was commendable.

I found the 6 sessions over an 8 week period to be very useful.

I have a better understanding as to what my triggers are and what to do to avoid them.

I have improved my social activities and social circle after taking the advice from the counselling sessions.

The timing was also very important for me. 

The room was comfortable and bright.

I really liked Amarpreet's approach in every way and that she continues to have many successes in the future.
