"Friendly nurses"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Geriatric Assessment

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My wife and I visit ward 10 twice a week to see my brother, on a Wednesday and a Friday. We are allowed in at any time. We find the ward staff friendly. When asked for help, the help arrives. The nurses are always friendly and really seem to care.

I wish someone would do something about his lack of hearing as this would greatly improve his quality of life.

Dear Lanarkshirelass

Thank you for sharing your experience with staff and allowing them to posts your comments.

I am pleased that you found the nurses friendly and that you found them to be really caring.

I will speak with staff to ensure that they have had your brothers hearing assessed and that something is being done regarding it.

I hope your brother is recovering well within the ward.

Regards

Janice
