"This is the worst hospital I have visited go to..."

About: King George Hospital / General surgery

Took my niece to this hospital to have a minor toe operation. The consultant who saw us before the day of the operation gave us wrong information. Then was asked to go in at 7.30am. Was told she will be seen by 12-12.30pm the latest, however still waiting in the ward to have the minor operation since waiting from 7.30am and this operation had been pre-booked for months. The nurse keepgiving vague answers and when I go to see why the delay they just walk past me and ignore me. When I raised my issues after being ignored for 10min the nurse said to me they are short staffed and this is the NHS, which is the usual response from hospital staff when something goes wrong. Really slow service and unreliable information given before the operation. Won’t be coming back here again!
