"Strategies for my future"

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral

(as a service user),

I was not happy with my assessment, I felt the person lacked empathy and understanding, they were just getting the scores done and weren't interested in me. Not enough time? Had to wait a long time for assessment too. 

The counsellor I seen was great - its such a great service. They listened in depth and understood my experience and helped me with strategies for my future.
Thank you so much, the counselling service is so important to talking therapies- much better than CBT or groups.

Dear asteropexy36. Thank you very much for providing us with feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your assessment. As part of this process, we have to gather scores as part of our minimum data set, a process which every person being assessed has to go through. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, please do not hesitate to contact me, or any other of the leads.

On a positive note, I am glad you found your counselling sessions helpful. It sounds as though you have learnt strategies that will help in the future. Best of luck with everything!!!
