(as a service user),

I was treated at Torbay Hospital for support/treatment during my pregnancy for my son as well as a recent missed miscarriage.

I had previously received terrible treatment/lack of support for miscarriages at Derriford Hospital (if I had any concerns I was sent back and forth between departments/GP and basically told 'not my problem/don't call us'). No consideration of my distress at all. Staff were rude and dismissive.

What a change when I came to Torbay! All staff went out of their way to help and provide regular and considerate treatment or advice. Nothing was too much trouble and during my miscarriage treatment everything was dealt with smoothly and with the utmost sensitivity.
