"Angels"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Neonatal Unit (Special Care Baby Unit)

(as a relative),

She was in the neo natal unit a couple of hours after her birth. I was present when she was born and left the hospital very happy. My daughter then called to say she had tuned blue and been taken to the nursery

I went up and the nurses couldn’t have been more lovely, explained what they thought had happened, very patient and understanding.

She wasn’t in long but each time we visited I could see the care they gave each baby, it made me realise how lucky we are to have them. My granddaughter got back to the ward today with her mummy, but we cannot thank the staff in neo mars enough.

Absolute Angels.

Thank you NB18 for taking the time to feedback your story through care opinion. I have passed this on to the all the clinical staff in the neonatal unit. It is great to hear you and your family had such a positive experience at such a stressful time. Congratulations to your daughter on the birth of her baby girl and I hope all well now that she has been discharged from the neonatal unit. Enjoy this preciuos time with your family.
