"No surprise this surgery has such a low rating"

About: Uxendon Crescent Surgery

For the best part of a year now, since moving to the area, my partner and I have had so many struggles trying to arrange appointments and get accurate, impartial and empathetic service from this surgery.

Out of all the times we call over the phone, only one person has conducted themselves in a professional manor.

When you make an appointment, you arrive to be told that there is no appointment made, or on the rare occasion the appointment stands, the shortest wait we have experienced over an hour.

We had to wait over two months to get an appointment just for a blood test. We were told we had to make another appointment to get the results, only to be told, by reception, that there were no problems and the blood test results were fine. My partner took a day off work just to be told this which was a complete waste of time.

As my partners condition is ongoing, she has had to take time off work with very little help from the doctors at this surgery.

She has medical insurance and when she needed to see a consultant to get a second opinion, she needed a referral letter from her doctor at this surgery. This took weeks and numerous visits to be told her doctor wasn't working so she had to come back, beginning the stressful cycle each time to get an appointment.

After getting referral from a private consultant, the details were sent to her doctor at Uxendon. When we went to the surgery to get a sick note (which took 8 phone calls and 3 visits to the surgery to arrange) the doctor was very rude, dismissive and derogatory in her demeanour and choice of words. She could even access the information provided by the private consultant because her 'computer wasn't working'.

I would definitely recommend that people do not register with this surgery as I feel that any health issues you have, will only be made worse by the stress involved in having this surgery as your GP. Another surgery, also in Wembley is by far better with much better patient care and communication.

the only word I can use to describe this surgery is disgust. Just read the other comments too below
