"Ridiculous service"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Staff seem to be more interested in sitting having a chit chat and playing on their phones rather than attending to my baby whom had a 42 degree temperature and was at risk of convulsion. I was left to wait for 5 hours when the staff were sat at the desk chatting and eating 90% of that time. When a 'Doctor' finally came to examine my son she spent a mere 2 minutes and then decided she wanted a second opinion. I'm still currently sat waiting for that 'second opinion' over an hour later. And I will add that the wards are not busy at all, I've only seen one other child since I arrived (I did check around whilst looking for non existent 'Doctor').
