About: Grove House Surgery

Today (Wednesday) I arrived at the surgery at 5.54pm to collect a prescription.

The doors were locked and everyone appeared to have gone home.

According to the website and a notice on the door, they are open until 6pm.

Perhaps they just felt like an early finish.

How very professional.

Who cares if patients are inconvenienced, as long as the staff are happy.

I am sorry that this has happened to you.

The surgery was open until 6.00pm that day.

Unfortunately we have had a problem with the door latch on our main door and sometimes it jams.

I can only apologise if this was the case, rest assured that I am endeavouring to source a new front door for the building.

There were definitely staff and doctors in the building at that time but again I am sorry if it didn't feel like that at the time. I do hope your prescription request has been sorted for you and perhaps in the future you might like to sign up to our on line prescription service to save you a trip to the surgery.
