"Well-Being Service"

About: Birmingham Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It really helped me to talk through my feelings and emotions with a counsellor at John Taylor Hospice. I reached out for help at a time I was feeling exceptionally low, some 16 months after my husband's death. I am very grateful that I was able to access the service when I needed it and didn't have to wait long, just one week.

Thank you for your lovely comments on our Well-Being Service. We aim to be there for families whenever they need us. With some people that may be coping with the initial grief but we also know that others can experience difficulties at a later stage. It's good to know you were able to approach us after 16 months and that we were able to help.
