"Minor Injury Unit and X-Ray"

About: Hospital Of St Cross (Rugby)

My Daughter turned her ankle at school and I took her to St Cross walk in clinic - understandably i was worried about my Daughter but also the ' Oh no - how long and what treatment will I receive'

Well I couldn't of had a better experience - helpful reception staff and minimal wait ( 10 mins after booking ) our nurse practitioner called us in and was friendly put my Daughter at ease - spot on diagnosis - wheeled down to Xray which took about 10 mins and back into walk in area .. he discussed the Xray and explained that he would consult Pediatrics's - which he did by phone who confirmed his plan - plastic boot crutches and in the middle of this the reception lady brought me the Monday check up appointment letter.

A fantastic experience - thank you all team

Dear Tim,

Thank you very much for posting your 5* review of the Rugby Urgent Care Centre following your daughter's accident.

I hope she's been doing well since.

I was so pleased to read how the reception staff had been so helpful and how the nurse had quickly seen your daughter and got her down to X-ray, as well as consulting a paediatric specialist by telephone.

We will share this lovely feedback with the staff, who will be so grateful for your comments.

The Trust is grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients. Thank you again for leaving your comments on NHS Choices.
