"Endoscopy procedure"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

Very organised, a bit of a waiting time but expected as I had been in the same department 6 weeks previous. Staff were attentive and I was kept fully informed of the procedure and the outcome. Only downfall for myself afterwards that there was no gluten free products available for after my procedure. Overall a positive experience

Dear Irishnick

Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion following your recent Endoscopy at the Victoria Hospital.

It is nice to hear that the staff made this an overall positive experience for you and we all appreciate your feedback.

It is disappointing to read that you were not offered gluten free products as bread and biscuits are available from the main kitchen should we have run out in the department. I will remind staff that this is this case and please accept my apologies that this did not happen for you.

I also appreciate your patience regarding waiting times prior to your procedure. Unexpected delays do happen however I expect any delays to be fully communicated to patients.

Thank you once more for your feedback and I hope you are now fully recovered.

Kind regards

Sandra
