"Had to have an emergency C section"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had to induced as I was 2 weeks over.

Stayed over night. Had my waters broke in the morning and later on my baby was struggling so had to have an emergency C section. The staff were fantastic and were very supportive. My boy was delivered safely but had to be formula feed. Stayed at hospital for 5 days to recover before being allowed to go home.
