"B 12 jab."

I went for my B12 jab early December and the nurse booked my following appointment there and then for the 6th March. I later realised that I would be away on holiday so I rang the surgery and they re booked me for Wednesday the 14th March at 10:10 am. When I went for the appointment I was told that I was a month late and that I should have attended in February. This was obviously untrue because my three month booking was due in March. They seemed to implicate that I was lying and, in spite of my protestations, I had to accept a booking fortnight hence at 9.20 at Heysham. This is sheer incompetance and this standard of Service seems seems to have become the norm since the Prsctices were grouped.

I’m sorry to read your complaint, but very grateful you added your name as this allows me to properly look into what has happened. I can see when you cancelled the original appointment, the date of the 14 Feb was booked but this was not 3 months from your last B12, I believe there was some confusion over which month this was booked and I can understand that as you would expect the new appointment to be as close to 3 months as possible and therefore be in March. We are really sorry if the receptionist was not clear to you at that point. Im sure the receptionist did not intend to accuse you of lying but merely pointing out you were a month after the original booked appointment. I’m glad to see you were seen a week later and that you have now received your B12 injection. I’m sorry for the confusion and am happy you have a date for your next visit.
