"Struggled to get an appointment at the right times for my pregnancy...."

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Struggling to get an appointment at the right times for my pregnancy....

After choosing Bolton Hospital with my community midwife, I have since received my booking in appointment, but it will be when in my 13th week (too late), as this isn't even the appointment for my dating scan, which means by the time my scan appointment gets booked, I would be too late to do a NT screening scan (this needs to be done in the 13th week!). I'm disappointed as my midwife sent through all my details, and it just appears my notes haven't been read.

Unfortunately I haven't a contact number for any of the midwifes at Bolton to explain, and feel like I don't know what to do.

I've already tried to get in touch with the hospital, but without a direct line to the antenatal unit, its proving difficult. I've got the booking in number, but I am still waiting for them to get back to me.

Its my first pregnancy, and I know its normal to worry, but I just want to make sure I can have my scan done at the right time for the screening.
