I was sent to an orthopaedic consultant at the Penine msk due to having many problems with my knee. After an mri scan, the orthopaedic had made a judgement that I had torn my meniscus. Due to being under 18, the consultant could not preform surgery on my knee so I was sent to the penine acute hospitals trust. The consultant at the hospital had said that the previous consultant hadn’t diagnosed that I had a torn ACL too. Now I am 2 months into recovery after having successful ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair.
