About: The Laurels Surgery

We moved to the area this year and signed up with Sidney house surgery. When i first went to book an appointment online, there was none available. I phoned up the surgery who informed me i have to sign in first thing on Friday mornings to book an appointment. Often these appointments go in a minutes. My last surgery and everyone i speak to book their's online as i used to do.

We then received a letter this month stating that the online booking tool is being taken away and that you have to call up to make appointments. However when you call up the phone is always engaged!

The information on this site is incorrect - there is NO online booking system. If you require this like I do then please avoid this surgery as you will have no chance in this day and age of booking an appointment.

Thank you for sending us your message through NHS Choices.

You are able to book Telephone appointments with a GP online.

These appointments are relased in the evening for the following day.

In order to log in to your SystmOnline account you will need to obtain a username and password from reception.

If you look at our website www.sidneyhouseandthelaurels.nhs.uk it will explain the appointment system in more detail and how to use the online services.

We are very concerned about the letter you mention you have received, that states that the online booking tool is being taken away.

This is not correct and the has not been sent by the Surgery.

We would be very interested to hear from you regarding this.
