"awaiting MR! results"

I had an MRI scan in November 2017 and I am still waiting for the written report from the neurologist on the scan. After much badgering of the neurology department the consultant finally rang me in February to give me verbal feedback and assured me the written feedback would arrive for me and my Dr (GP) in the very near future. It is now the middle of March and I have received no written report. How can this be acceptable? I have rang numerous times through the switchboard on the 0300 number, but I end up on hold. the last phone call on hold lasted 10 mins till I gave up.........
