I only visit the surgery when a real need arises. But it is so very difficult to get an appointment with either a practice nurse or a doctor. At times you feel intimidated by the receptionist.Asking you questions what's it for? You may feel so I'll, maybe uncertain what it is yourself.Came to the surgery yesterday seeking accurate knowledge of tests.Monday a different receptionist said all was ok.Two days later visiting surgery told different that one test confirmed a condition (has the person on Monday really looked at the screen.Had I been asking for appointment with with doctor or nurse yesterday was told none available (and that to indefinite period)HOW???what is it, I have been nursing a bad throat for a few days, conditions got worse overnight neck and under chin very swollen.Never had such with bad throat before.Naturally I am concerned I have a colonoscopy appt outpatient Monday, and Endoscopy Friday (if I can't get relief the latter won't take place.I am sure this isn't the business of the receptionist and I SHOULD NOT have to explain to her I am feeling quite bad enough.
