I am 80 years old. Early on Friday I was violently sick. Which continued at least every half hour. My husband popped to the chemist to get something for me after speaking to 111. While he was gone I stood up to be sick again. I fainted. And could not get myself up having hurt my foot.
My doctors suggested I went to a walk in centre as no dr would visit at home . Or call an ambulance as I needed to be assessed. Which he did. The crew were very kind and took me to Queens still vomiting. Within 3o mins I had a cubicle and a side room in another 30 mins . They gave me an anti sickness injection and fluids. I had an xray on my foot. Although not broken is very painful still. Ive got to say everone from ambulance to a tea lady was lovely to me. You hear such awful stories but my experience was nothing but kindness and care.
Well Done Staff at Queens Hospital Romford.and thankyou.
