"Friendly, efficient care after riding accident"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

Can’t give enough praise to the air ambulance and ground ambulance crew that arrived to my daughter after being bucked off her horse out hunting in the middle of nowhere in the Dulverton area.

The nurses and doctors when we arrived in a & e were friendly polite and efficient. It was manic there tonight (they will probably say that's normal). Such an eye opener.

My daughter was then transferred to Jewett ward and the 2 ladies there Emma and June were outstanding. The ward was in a bit of a pickle when they took over and after a few phone calls and whilst also being very attentive and caring had everything sorted and ship shape in no time.

We only hear the bad side of the NHS on the news, but Taunton keep up the good work.

Dear Suzy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and I hope your daughter is recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients and those around them when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in this instance, however, to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards,

Sharifa
