I am leaving hospital today with my little girl and have to say Thank you.

All the staff from the reception to the Consultants have been excellent.

My labour and delivery were assisted by student midwife and midwife. I felt safe, supported and it was a fantastic experience. Both of these ladies made the whole process a beautiful journey I will never forget.

Thank you.

The hospital is busy but everyone works so hard and I feel lucky to have had my baby here.

Thank you so very much for taking time to send your thanks to us at Maternity Services at RVI, Newcastle. We are very pleased to hear that you had a very positive experience in all the aspects of your maternity care, with all staff providing you good care throughout. We are very proud of our staff, they all work hard to ensure parents and their babies using our service receive the best possible care.

As we cannot be sure who you are from the details provided, we are unable to provide the midwife and student who cared for you during your labour and birth these personal thanks but we will share this with all staff.

We are very happy that we have been able to make your pregnancy labour, birth and early postnatal experience such a memorable one.
