I have been registered at this surgery for more then 5 years. The staff are rude and unhelpful especially the reception staff. One receptionist in particular did nothing other then give attitude over the phone and was completely unhelpful when trying to book an appointment. Why do receptionists insist on knowing why you want to see a GP. I did not know receptionists are medically trained, when your a medic your self you clearly know whether you need to see a GP or ANP. The doctors just want you in and out, no empathy no sympathy and no compassion. I plan to leave this surgery when I move in July and can not wait. Hopefully where I move il find a surgery where they actually have some compassion and better trained admin!!!! Absolute joke.

Dear Patient,

We are sorry you have not had a good experience with your telephone calls to the surgery. We receive numerous calls to the surgery each day and so the receptionists are under great pressure to deal with calls and queries quickly and efficiently. We would like to sincerely apologise that you felt the receptionist was rude. We do offer patient online access which allows you to arrange and cancel appointments with the doctor, you can attend the surgery and speak with the receptionist to request a registration letter.

We hope this response will be helpful for you but if you are still dissatisfied then it may be more beneficial to arrange a meeting with the Practice Manager to discuss your concerns further.
