About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I would like to thank staff in labour ward and ward 17 for the excellent care both before during and after the birth of our daughter. We had 2 admissions with reduced feral movements before the birth and were are for quickly and with compassion by both midwives and the registrars (Rachel and Neve I think). 

During labour we had excellent care and were fully informed by both midwives and consultants, and anaesthetists (needed a section) of what was happening.

Ward 17 staff (midwives, auxiliaries and domestics) are all very kind and professional. We were very impressed by all. Thank you very much to everyone.

Thank you for your feedback I shall ensure this is shared with all those concerned. We strive to work together as a team to provide compassionate care for women and their families. We appreciate that good communication is vital throughout every woman's journey during pregnancy and during those important days at home following the birth of a baby.
