"Prostate cabcer"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

My husband had hormone therapy and a month of radiotherapy for early prostate cancer last year. The consultant was straightforward and efficient, telling it how it is... answered all our questions satisfactorily.

The specialist nurses were equally helpful, as were the radiotherapy staff. The atmosphere in the department is cheerful, despite the nature of the illnesses of the patients, in an extremely busy area. My husband is also taking advantage of the followon services at the Macmillan centre. In these days of NHS cutbacks, Peterborough cancer services are very impressive.
