"Recommend surgery"

I have been a patient of the surgery for over 20years, I can not praise all the staff for all the effort they put into the surgery and try to accomadate all your needs.My husband and I both suffer with chronic health problems and the doctor we see has always been professional, ensuring we understand our care and treatment plan and follows up on referrals and investigations. The reception staff do there best to accomadate appts convienient to you, always friendly and if no Gp appointment put you in to see a nurse.

In recent years I began to suffer with mental health illness which has been very debilitating,and scary for my family. The doctor has supported us through this slow road to recovery, always explaining treatment options, offering support to us all through this difficult time . The doctor makes you feel at ease so able to discuss our fears and care and ensuring we are happy with plan before we leave surgery. We are very grateful to have such a kind, supportive GP who cares about their patients.

Not only do they run the surgery with their great team of staff but in the last few years has seen the doctor Open Pennygate foundation next door. This is an amazing place to offer friendly face, support to vulnerable people eg meals on wheels type service,help with form filling or just a friendly face to share you worries with. Many people use the centre eg local groups, making up food parcels for vulnerable families who can not afford to feed their families, place to go for advice or to go for Hot meal and chat. This is a great place which was built as the doctor felt there was a need for it, after seeing many of their families struggle. It has helped many families which I was proud to volunteer in before I became suffering mental illness.

I would recommend this surgery to any person looking for GP.
