"Needs more doctors/nurses!"

My 7 year old daughter had an ear infection, I called every day but unable to get her an appointment. Now she has a rash on her face and I have been told I can have an appointment next week! This is just 2 examples, I have many. This is totally unacceptable. I also have a chronic condition which requires me to be seen quickly sometimes and I rarely get seen causing me to have to use the local a&e department unnecessarily. Please give us more doctors and stop running this surgery into the ground. It used to be one of the best. Disgraceful.

To whom it may concern,

My name is Alex and I'm the new Patient Services Manager here at The Gore Surgery. My sole role here at the surgery is to ensure patients are receiving optimum care and I'm sorry to read that you feel as though this has not been achieved on this occasion.

Since you have logged this complaint anonymously, I'm unable to see your notes and gather more of an idea as to what went wrong and exactly how we can make things better. For this reason, should you receive this message, please contact the practice and ask to speak to myself.

I'd love to get more of an idea as to how we can improve our services here, and your assistance would be key in helping me to achieve that.
